A must read for fans of crime dramas and serial killer shows.
If you ever wondered what an episode of “Criminal Minds” or “The Following” would be like from the killer’s perspective then you came to the right place. This series of masterfully written novellas will grab you and hold you. Not for the timid reader the author, John Cassian pulls no punches. His protagonist killer is unapologetically sick and twisted, but strangely likable. It is riveting and dark, but lightened with just the right touch of humor. Don’t mistake this series for erotica because it is not. It does include explicit sexual situations, but they are essential to the story line and are never gratuitous or extraneous. The stories are fun, fast-paced thrillers covering a very dark topic. I could not be more impressed with the quality of the writing or the compelling nature of the stories. I purchased and read both books separately but now that the compilation is out I recommend buying it instead. In addition to two excellent stories, the Knight Chronicles includes a preview of book three. I’m tempted to buy it just for the preview. I really want Mr. Cassian to hurry up with finishing book three!
